A babe is born

Shhh… don’t wake the baby!

Some people already know that my husband Carl Crosier willed our fortepiano to our friend, Mark Russell. (You can read my post about the fortepiano here “Our fortepiano is famous“.) Since I don’t play the piano (really and truly!) I thought it better to buy myself a musical instrument which would not just sit and collect dust!

So I am very excited to announce that I have ordered a small house organ for my condo and that it will be coming to Hawaii very soon! Here are the first snapshots of “my baby” — the inside pipes, façade pipes, slots in the wind chest and other wind chest detail.

I’ll take all your suggestions on what to name it! (Girls’ names, please)

  1. What a wonderful instrument! It has an elegance of form and design not often seen in small organs. Congratulations!
