Many of you readers (hundreds, in fact) attended the Honolulu performances of Bach’s monumental Mass in B minor, in May 2011. Those concerts were dubbed Carl Crosier’s “swan song,” his last concerts as the cantor of the Lutheran Church of Honolulu. There were many stars those two nights, but one clearly stood out — that was Meg Bragle, the alto who sang the unforgettable Agnus Dei.

I see by her FaceBook page that she will be singing the Bach Easter and Ascension Oratorios, with Sir John Eliot Gardiner and the Monteverdi Choir at Royal Albert Hall. It will be streamed live on August 9th on BBC Radio 3 at 16:30 GMT at this link: //www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b037v265

You guys can figure out the time when that’s going to happen in Hawaii!
