Here are some comments from Facebook about last night’s event:

There were many beautiful moments from last night’s concert. But this was truly my favorite of all. We were breathing, listening and in tune with another. (Ha, no pun intended!) I will always remember this special music making experience with these fabulous musicians. My heart is so full. (Jieun Kim Newland)

Very enjoyable! (Daryl Akamichi)

It was an amazing concert!! (KC Lee)

Loads of talent right there!! that was incredible! (Patty Clayton)

What a night of organ music! I got to run around and snap some shots for Katherine Crosier on her bling bling phone! That was a fun concert! It was great to see so many familiar faces as well. 🙂 (Taylor Ishida)

We enjoyed the whole concert. Many thanks, Katherine. (Barbara Lynn Pretty)

Congratulations Sachi, Katherine, and Jieun on a lovely concert! Favorite pieces: the Soler Concerto No. 6, Praeambulum and Fugue in E by Lübeck, and Panerai’s Sonata for 6 Hands. (Scott Fikse)

Good news! In case you missed last night’s concert, we three ladies (Jieun Kim Newland, Sachi P. Hirakouji and myself) will be reprising the “Suonata a sei mani” by Vincenzo Panerai next Saturday, October 20, 7:00 pm. (That was our final piece of the concert with all three of us on one bench!) The concert will be at Central Union Church, honoring organist Nyle Hallman and featuring ten organists and a harpist: Karl Bachman, myself, Nyle Hallman, Sachi P. Hirakouji, Margaret Lloyd, Jieun Kim Newland, Raphael Stark, Sophia Stark, Mark Wong, Miki Yamamoto and Connie Uejio, harpist.

Two of the organists are my students, Sophia and Raphael Stark, and they will be playing a duet by PDQ Bach.
