Some time ago, Carol Langner came to us and said, “We have got to have a PARTY after the Bach!” So today 43 of us gathered at the Hale Koa hotel for a fun luncheon. It was good to trade war stories about the B-Minor and relive all its glorious moments, hear about people’s summer travel plans, and in general, talk to one another outside of the rehearsal.
Carol made a special presentation to Carl — a plaque which had a picture of Bach on it overlaid with the first page of the Sanctus from the B-Minor Mass. You can click the picture to see a larger view of it and read the inscription.
