Carl asked this question of the choristers after tonight’s rehearsal. “Are you ready to meet the orchestra next week?” Everyone shook their heads together, “NOOOO!”

What was scheduled to be the last choral rehearsal before meeting the orchestra on Monday is going to turn out to be the “next to the last” rehearsal. We will have one additional crack at it on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 pm.

Carl remarked, “I can’t believe we did not have a single rehearsal with everyone here!” as several people were absent tonight. Some people have already told Carl that they won’t be able to make some of the dress rehearsals with orchestra next week!

Sections that were ragged at the beginning, though, were starting to turn around by the end of tonight’s rehearsal.

I had taken a lot of pictures at the rehearsal but when I came home, my camera was nowhere to be found. I drove back to the church to look for it, and it’s not there! Just one more complication in the countdown to Bach. Boo-Hoo!
