Since my post of yesterday, I am excited to report we have received $750 towards the Monteverdi concerts $13,000 deficit, and one of our bills came in about $700 lower than expected! I’m confident we’re on our way towards breaking even. Yay, Honolulu, I know you can do it!

Today I updated the link for the Early Music Hawaii website which will now take you directly to the Donations section where you can use any credit card to contribute to the cause. You can also send a check to:

Contributions are also being received by the Lutheran Church of Honolulu, and if you click the link you can make your donation online, using any credit card.  If you’d rather mail a check, you can send it to: (please denote “LCH Music Fund” in the memo line)

The Monteverdi Vespers of 1610 concerts were extraordinary musical and spiritual experiences for both performers and audience alike, and we were most proud of our local singers and instrumentalists for helping to bring this glorious music to life. We continue to receive notes of thanks, which are most definitely appreciated! Please help us erase this deficit so that we can move forward towards the rest of our Abendmusiken Season. Every little bit helps.
