It was a couple of months ago that Georgine Stark approached me about celebrating Carl Crosier’s tenure at LCH with a T-Shirt, and today she brought the finished shirts to church. At first she wanted it to be a surprise for Carl, but we decided it would be too difficult to keep a secret. Last week during announcements time, apparently Pastor Jeff announced it as the Carl Crosier memorial T-Shirt and was quickly corrected to call it the Carl Crosier commemorative T-Shirt!
There are several opportunities to wear the shirt. There will be a choir rehearsal on Saturday, August 13th at 3:00 pm for the Haydn, Lord Nelson Mass, followed by a choir potluck and party. All members of all the choirs are invited to attend the choir party at 5:00 pm.
Then there will be another choral rehearsal on Thursday, August 18th from 7:00 to 9:15 pm, and an orchestra rehearsal on Saturday, August 20th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
All members and friends of the congregation are asked to proudly wear the T-Shirts on Carl’s last service, Sunday, August 21st at 9:15 a.m. Hopefully we can also get a group photo so please stick around for that. You’ll also not want to miss the reception which will follow the service. Won’t it be fabulous to see everyone dressed in turquoise that day!

We are related to Norman Soreng Wright and would be interested in knowing more about him. He is my great uncle. We have a painting of him. We understand he was a teacher of yours. I am 12 and I play the harp.
Could you take a picture of the painting and send it to me? You are the first relative who has contacted me. I am afraid my knowledge of him is quite limited although I studied with him for four years.
